After more than a decade of paperless transactions, our team at Royal LePage Turner Realty is making an exciting change. We're transitioning our transaction management platform from DocuSign to SkySlope—a system built from the ground up for real estate.

You may not know this, but we were doing things digitally before most in the industry even thought of it.

Back in 2012, Mike Turner—then an agent, now our Broker of Record—started using a platform called Cartavi, one of the very first paperless transaction management systems available in real estate. When DocuSign acquired Cartavi, Mike sent his first DocuSign document for signature on August 23, 2013. When he took over running the brokerage in 2014, going fully digital wasn't a question—it was already the standard he'd set for himself. From that point on, every transaction at Royal LePage Turner Realty has been managed paperlessly.

That's over thirteen years of managing transactions digitally. Every listing agreement, every offer, every closing document—organized, secure, and accessible.

WHY SKYSLOPE?

SkySlope is purpose-built for real estate brokerages. Where DocuSign is a broadly focused e-signature tool, SkySlope is designed around the full lifecycle of a real estate transaction—from listing to close. We believe it will allow us to serve our clients even more efficiently, with stronger organization, better compliance tracking, and a smoother experience behind the scenes, ultimately leading to faster transaction times and increased client satisfaction.

NOTHING IS LOST

As part of this transition, we're carefully backing up every file and record from our DocuSign history to ensure nothing is lost. Over 1,700 transaction ends' worth of documentation— all safe and accounted for.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

For our clients, nothing changes in how we work with you. You'll still receive the same professional, attentive service whether you're buying your first home in Gander or selling a family property in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The only difference is behind the scenes—and it's all for the better, as we have implemented new technology and streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and improve communication with our clients.
