Our affiliation with the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is an important tool to sell your home. The MLS allows us to market your home by sharing information about it with brokers from different companies around Gander and across the country.
MLS BENEFITS YOU AS A SELLER
Utilizing the MLS as a seller will allow your home to be listed on MLS systems. All MLS registered agents will know that it is for sale and they will be able to help your agent to sell your home by bringing more buyers to you. Your chances of selling more quickly and at the right price are much better.
How can you have your house listed on the MLS?
If you would like to sell your home quickly and at the right price, you should first make sure that the agent is a member of the MLS. All Newfoundland & Labrador Association of Realtors (NLAR) are active members. When you decide to list your home with one of our agents we will add your home to the MLS.
How does MLS work?
For sellers, your agent will put the details of your home on the MLS site. Our agents along with other real estate agents in the area can view your home in a detailed perspective and be able to contact their buyers with a home that matches their needs.
Who do you deal with in MLS?
When selling your home, you will only need to deal with your Royal Lepage agent. They will field all inquiries and answer all of the questions about your home.
How much does the MLS service cost?
Nothing. You get a higher level of service at no extra cost. By using our MLS affiliation to your advantage, you get the leverage of spreading information to agents in Gander and across the country and get the combined professional service and advice of many.
How can the MLS help a buyer?
Because your agent knows about the homes that other MLS agents have for sale, you will have a much larger range of homes to choose from. Your agent will ask you about the home you are looking for and then search the MLS system for homes, which will meet your criteria. Your agent will phone the sellers or selling agents of selected properties to arrange a viewing.
